Taking a step aside from fashion, just for a second, look at this image which i have came across. It is such a shocking image. And as i want a career in publishing, fashion, media and magazines. This is a huge part of what I will want to be looking carefully into. There's so many arguments that come with this particular topic, it is such a debatable area. As of course, magazines are not going to be willing to publish and print certain images, which although it does sound harsh, it is a truth. As it can affect the magazines outlook, people buy these fashion, beauty and gossip magazine to look and admire the beauty. However, yes, I say a certain amount of retouching is fine here and there, it's only human nature to want bits changing. I mean, we're all like that right? Nobody is 100% with their body or how they look, but we certainly shouldn't look to the majority of magazines and think that it's normal to look like that. As proven here. It is extremely shocking at how much retouching has been done here. But please, keep in mind that not all magazines do this and to be strong. Believe you are beautiful!
