CRAZY DELUDED WEATHER!

This may be a typical British blog entry, and completely off topic to Fashion and beauty and all that jazz. But by golly gosh! I think I speak for us all when I say ‘What on earth is going on with this weather! Really?!’

It feels like we are actually heading into a horrible doomsday abyss. It’s hard to pick a place to start with this topic. It’s all over the place (Literally, all over)

December saw absolutely no snow whatsoever, but when has it? Sure it was around 10 years ago we all had that dream white Christmas. Or it may be even longer than that? It sure feels like it!

Summers would either be one extreme or another. Some years we’d be scorching hot, as if Britain was Spain or something. Then the next it would be a wash out! Remember that year were we had like, one single day of sun?!

It was supposed to be summer! You know, that stereotypical hot, beach days, sun rays and everything else. But no. Not For Britain.

I do vividly remember thinking ‘gosh, this weather is getting pretty bad!’. But at least we all had some warning then. It were days, months and even years where these massive weather system changes would be.

But now we have no warning whatsoever. None! Flood after Flood completely washing us out. Ice taking us all down one by one like dolls. Gusts taking us off our feet to fly with the birds. (Yes, I know that does sound cool. But think about the landing!) And when we do have it, sun rays drying us out like old prunes!

March 2013 and we’re being snowed on?! How on earth is this real? It’s March! That’s spring. We should be warming up a little and getting rained on a little. It’s the complete opposite from March 2012; it was lovely and sunny back then!

Take this quick case study (It’s mine). One day, it was fine outside, fairly warm, sun was out. I was walking down the high street trying not to walk into any shops in fear of spending money. Got to my food destination. Walked in. Bought a sandwich. Walked out.

In the space of around 4 minutes it had gone from mild and sunny to cold and hailing. This is not a lie!

So, after that experience. There really couldn’t really be any better time to say those very well-known (and well-spoken) words; ‘GOOD OL’ BRITISH WEATHER!’

We’re only a teeny tiny, little ickle, country and Mother Nature appears to want to kick our butts! Yeah, bully the bigger countries and continents. Not us mini’s! Please. Just give us the nice weather and in the right seasonal month. Please?!

My conclusion? Mother Nature has been enjoying a tipple too much recently!
