It's still relatively new into the hands of the public. More so since almost every single cosmetics brand are joining the ever-growing trend. However, there are still numbers of women who have yet to jump onto the BB cream train. It seems to be something us women are little cautious in trying. After all, can you really believe there is such thing as a miracle make up.
Some brands offering you 8-in-1 and others 9-in-1. Including the benefits of SPF protection, concealer, foundation coverage, skin primer, and moisture. All in this one single bottle. BB cream even claims that there is no need for face primers or even to pre-moisturize your face. Now, that sounds perfect!
When asking a few women what they thought surprisingly, the results were not as expected. More women were less than impressed with the miracle cream. Some saying the coverage was like water and others saying it were too greasy for their skin. With advert after advert claiming the BB creams is something super which tons of women are investing in. Doesn't really add up, does it? Surely all women should be a fan of this ultimate make-up product. Yes, some women commented on how their skin looked illuminated and felt breathable and that they would feel brighter in the morning. But not as many agreed as you would have expected.

So, I took this into my own hands. Yes. I got out my pastel pink purse and made the plunge to purchase. I can honestly say that I didn't have a clue what to expect. So, here goes! The moment of truth. I slapped on my BB cream one morning. And the result? I can say, I like it! I honestly do. But, I’m not sure if it was just the feeling of having something new that thrilled me. I felt fresh and I felt light. And it did last a lot longer than expected. Without the use of a primer. I still, somehow cannot say I’m a new BB cream queen convert though. Yes, I had a good experience with the beauty balm but there’s still some comfort in ye old faithful foundation. Needless to say, I will be finishing the tube though.
But thinking about it, yes, it is an innovative product that seems to cover everything all in one. But what’s to come next? There’s always something new going on in the fashion and beauty industry. How on earth do we all keep up? Already we have a CC cream oozing into our magazine pages and t.v. screens. Colour Correct are the new words on beauty guru’s lips. But, we don't really need our colours correcting, do we? Correcting our blemishes? That’s a definite yes! So the point of Beauty/Blemish Balm is pretty clear. (A pun may have slipped into that sentence.)
Maybe this CC stuff is another foundation alternative we will have to check out. And maybe, just maybe, it’ll top trump the BB and foundation. Let’s just wait and see what appears in our make-up bags next…
